Who We Are
Rootwell Flavor Co. is built on the idea that great flavor starts at the source.
While many syrups are made with “natural flavors,” Rootwell starts with whole fruit, botanicals, agave and dates to create depth you can actually taste.
We create naturally derived syrups, concentrates, and extracts designed for real use—behind the bar, in the cafe, and in the kitchen. Every product begins with whole, 100% natural ingredients, free from preservatives and artificial sweeteners, allowing each component to speak clearly and honestly.
Our Process
1 Infuse
2 Develop
3 Refine
This is how Rootwell creates flavors that are layered, balanced, and designed to work across a range of uses.
This isn’t about adding flavor.
It’s about building it with intention.
re-usable bottle service
We package in glass bottles designed to be used again and again.
Your first order includes the bottles. After that, we send refills with prepaid return packaging so empties come back to us, get sanitized, and re-enter circulation.
Less waste. Better materials. A closed-loop system that actually works.
Our Story
Rootwell didn’t start as a business—it started as a shift.
After years of working in design, building systems and shaping experiences, I found myself drawn to something more tangible. Something slower, more sensory, and more connected to how people actually live day to day.
That pull led me into the kitchen—experimenting with ingredients, fermentation, and the quiet process of building flavor from the ground up. What began as curiosity quickly became something more intentional. I started to see the parallels: structure, balance, refinement. Just in a different form.
Over time, it became clear that what I was creating wasn’t just for myself. There was a gap between what was available and what felt possible—products that were either overly processed or lacking depth and flexibility.
Rootwell grew out of that space.
It’s a continuation of the same work, just expressed differently. Still rooted in design, still focused on systems and detail—but now centered around flavor, ingredients, and the experience of using them.
